Our Carrot from Italy
It is healthy, why

It is rich in beta-carotene and magnesium, thus helping to fight high levels of cholesterol in blood and disorders of the cardio-vascular system. The essential oils it contains, moreover, help to fight bacterial infections.

 
         
   

Carrot
cake

     

Ingredients

   

3 eggs
200 g sugar
100 g flour
400 g carrots
200 g almonds
1 tsp. yeast


 


 
 

Directions

     
 

Wash carrots and grate them finely; then do the same with the almonds. Work egg yolks with sugar until you obtain a thick mixture and add, little by little, carrots, almonds, sifted flour and yeast. Then separately whip the egg whites with a pinch of salt and once they are ready, add them to the mixture you have previously prepared

 

Mix the whole with a spatula and pour it into a buttered baking tin dusted with flour. Put your cake into the oven and let bake for 45 minutes at 180°.
